A Valentine's Tragedy, by the 5 year old

Once upon a time there was a mermaid queen.

She roamed the ocean swimming and looking beautiful.

But then pirates caught her

and burned her up

and ate her for dinner.

She was unfortunately delicious.

  18. What were the pirates to do if she was "unfortunately delicious?" I have yet to pass up anything that fit into that category. The other mermaids had better watch out.

Welcome to the real world, where the princess doesn't always come out on top.

  24. You probably already know this but it's more similar to the original little mermaid story than the disney version.

I always like the unhappy ending one better myself.
