ode to Lynne!

These are Lynne's feet, her cheerful yellow sandals and smart black leggings.  She is so effortlessly chic.  And her house is even more charming in real life.  We had a fabulous time visiting her in California.  And I must say, Lynne is probably the nicest person that I know.  She was recently called as the leader of the women's organization at her church--the relief society--and what a responsibility!  She probably spends about 15 hours per week helping underprivileged families and women in her area.  She recently waited for ten hours in the emergency room helping an elderly hispanic man.  And she does it all with a smile.  I wish you could all know her as I do.

Love the yellow Saltwaters.

Should I be offering my congratulations or condolences to Lynne for her new calling???? :-) (I've been 1st and 2nd counselor and that is demanding enough. I can't imagine being the pres!) Good luck, Lynne!

Lynne, I had to figure out to place a comment just so I could add to what Melissa said. You are truly the most selfless, giving person I know and you always have a smile on your face. How lucky we all are to have you in our lives!! Ode to Lynne! --Paige

Lynne,
We only live 3000 miles apart - you should come back here and visit me! =) Lynne is awesome and she will make a fantastic RSP.
Lynne used to have a darling house and amazing style back when she was a poor starving college wife. I would LOVE to see pictures of her house now (hint hint).

I echoe your thoughts Melissa - Lynne is soo stylish and the perfect hostess.

She had a house full of five adults, nine children and a dog!! Amidst all the chaos we arrived to clean rooms with fresh guest baskets. It was such a treat!

Thanks Lynne - we had SUCH a great time visiting you!!

From the one who has known her longest, I have to say it is all true and more. If I tried to tell you just how wonderful Lynne is, I'd run out of adjectives.

Lynne always makes me smile, makes me want to do my best, makes me glad to be alive, and makes me happy she is willing to have an old granny for her friend.
Love you, Lynne!

I have actually said that exact thing to my husband over and over: "Lynne has to be the happiest, friendliest person on earth." And it's oh so true. Hooray for Lynne.

I keep finding out all of my favorite bloggers are LDS. How funny! (I am too--although I live in the south, so I'm not used to other people being LDS.) I teach in RS it is my FAV calling ever. Good luck with all the good doing!
