storytime button-over #2

Voila version #2 of the storytime button-over.  It's a fairly quick and simple pattern to sew and is perfect for hot July and August days.  This will be for sale in our shop (hopefully soon!)

what a darling outfit! Is that the Sandi Henderson ginger blossom fabric? I love what you've done with it!! The model make it even cuter.

So cute as usual!! That suitcase really took me back to my sister's and my first suitcases in the 70's! We had some just like this except I think it was an orange version! Wow. Where did you find it?

to answer your questions, the fabric is new, from Sew Mama Sew, and I found the suitcase in my mom's storage room. It used to be my sisters.

Oh Melissa,
I love the wood button in contrast to the vintagey material. I really love how you set up the photo. All things vintage right? Crochet, fabric suitcase. Love it....again!

Melissa, I DO live in Driggs and was totally wondering if you grew up in Sugar City (or if there was another one somewhere out there)...I absolutely love your blog and can't remember where I found it, but check it often. I'm not originally from Driggs, but my husband is and we're located here for good. Keep up the great work!
