sugar city family fun
So in addition to opening our little shop we had a mini-family reunion here in California at my house, with Melissa and my brother and their three kids, and my sister Lauren and her three kids (which made nine children all seven and under running around). It was pretty much total insanity for three days culminating with the best ever talent show last night. The bottom picture is my brother doing the worm to "I Wear My Sunglasses at Night" in a reprisal of his junior high dancing days. It was very awesome. Especially when our dog tried to... join him. Thanks for a great visit, guys- we miss you already!

This is probably one of the most fun times in my life-- when all the cousins are little and it seems like pure chaos, but good chaos!! It is fun at a little older age too, but I just adore the little ones! That is hilarious that your brother was sharing his "moves" from the 80's!!! We have fully exposed our children to that decade of music!! ;)
Sounds like tons of fun!
Let's try this again. We are drooling with envy to have missed the chaos. I'm happy Brad hasn't forgotten his jr. high days - and his secret wild dancing in his bedroom. Remember "Jump" ? In case you don't, it was a song and he shook the house - what else - jumping to it!
Hey! Nice tent, thanks for showing it! :)
I recall seeing Brad doing the worm during an event back in Queens, Ny. Can't tell you what it was but I clearly remember the move. He is Awesome. I'm so glad you guys had fun and so glad your shop is open.
I love this blog...
We miss you too!
oh my gosh- that picture of "the worm" is so hilarious- thanks for making me laugh out loud
