Ballet

Last night we looked through this beautiful book, illustrated by my favorite Lisbeth Zwerger. This year is the first that we're taking the five year old to the Nutcracker, and I hope she loves it as much as I do. I also hope that I can convince her to start wearing shawls and white gowns around like this little heroine here. Sigh. What a world. I was born in the wrong century.

I remember being a snowflake when I was 8 years of age~ I'm glad that there are others out there who also value classics and tradition.
My husband is always teasing that I'm an 88yr old woman stuck in a 28yr old body...he might just be right!

I'm taking my daughter to the Nutcracker this Sunday. She's three and it will be her first time attending the ballet. I'm so excited! By the way, love your blog!

Lisbeth Zwerger is my favourite too! Have you seen her Noah's Ark?

Prue - no! I bet it's fantastic; I'll have to hunt it down. I think my all time favorite is her Gift of the Magi... the pictures are amazing...

This was my daughter's first year to see the Nutcracker too! It was a hit.....I'm with you Lynne, I dream of living in the time of shawls and gowns!

Lynne - Gift of the Magi is the book whose colours I was inspired by for my lampshades! I haven't actually seen the book itself, but have seen illustrations from it in The Art of Lisbeth Zwerger.

My mom bought all of my sisters' and my family tickets to the Nutcracker last year. The youngest girls were all twirling and dancing afterwards... it just does that to you!!!

After all, Hogan scarpe and older children definitely outgrow shoes faster than adults do. The trend several years ago was to buy Hogan scarpe uomo with very thick soles. However, recently a new style of shoes for Hogan uomo has become very popular in the market.
