Wanderings Coat patterns still available in our shop. A new variation in red brings the perfect Christmas cheer. Especially when accompanied by the fierce and toujours hungry wolf. Luckily Mr. Woodsman (our papa) can come save poor little Red from the troublesome zippered Wolfie. With a little ax work and a pull of the zipper, our caped girl is free. Hurrah! Kits available within the next few days to make your own zippered Wolfie and personalized Riding Hood heros and heroines.
The coat is adorable! Any chance this would be make-able in a boiled wool? I'd love to make it for my daughter but our winters (and falls, for that matter) require more than linen or cotton to keep warm!
Melissa - this is AMAZING!!!!! I can't tell you how in love I am with this adorable coat. And the zippered wolf?! Unbelievable. I also LOVE that picture of the woodsman... hilarious.
Oh by the way, what do you use to make the cloth people? Do you use that cloth that you can put into your printer? I've used that before but it says that it will come out in the washer so I've refrained from using it too much.
I can't express how much I LOVE THAT COAT! I wish I had a little one to dress up in it :-) The idea for the zippered tummy on the wolf is so cunning, and I love how you can personalize the characters. Well done!
I received this coat pattern today, thank you so much! Yo8 two are so talented, and then on top of that, generous to actually share it with the rest of us. Your blog is a constant source of inspiration to me, and I look forward to your creations. I have to admit, I'm kind of hoping that the Muff Lust ensemble gets a pattern. I'll be in line for that one as well!
This coat is adorable! Your last post about making the CDs sounded so familiar. I have a seven year old boy who totally loves Star Wars. He wouldn't like making gifts for his friends either. My older daughter made CDs with a mix of Christmas songs for her friends a few years ago. They loved it! Her CD is one of her friend's families favorite Christmas CDs.
NO way! I can't even believe you came up with this!!! Well, I can... it's just brilliant. Is there some kind of patent for this? Any little girl would adore this coat. I want one myself. I LOVE the red!!!
Wonderful thanks a lot for share, i bough to my daughter a little brown coat for the winter season. Do you sell this stuff ? or at least it can be get it on amazon ? Thanks
Oh my goodness. Wolfie with a zippered tummy is brilliant! Maybe my kids would be more excited to wear their coats if they were this fun!
