check out these patterns i'm borrowing from my mother-in-law, who had the foresight to save most patterns she's sewn (which is a lot - she's a very talented seamstress). i can't wait to get a minute (one day...) at my sewing machine...

I love the little yellow McCall's dress!
Lynne, I just got a whole truckload of old pattern JUST LIKE THESE (different patterns, same maker, same era) from my mom's sewing closet. We've been going through things and I just couldn't let these go! I keep attempting to make something, but always seem to get caught up in reading the little asides and never make it to the machine. Let me know how they work out for you. I'd love to get cracking!
