A few years ago we made little blown-out halloween eggs, a la Martha Stewart (oh Martha, how talented are you and the people you employ!) They are not quite as aesthetically pleasing as the bum-pkin but we love pulling them out every fall and hunting for scraggly branches to hang them from.

What a fun little tree. It reminds me of a little Tasha Tudor Easter tree. I also love the black painting behind the tree. Does it have branches painted on it?
it's just a canvas painted with black chalk board paint. right now it has a few branches I drew on it the other day - I'm waiting to get a good idea for it...

A great effect and so simply achieved. I'll definitely be taking inspiration from this.
