Stephanie's Room

Our friend Stephanie, creator of the always wonderful Stephmodo blog, recently redid one of her bedrooms a la one of my favorite Van Gogh paintings. I think this is one of the prettiest little corners I've ever seen - I love her art, the stack of books (including her Stephmodo Volume 1 book, which is so cool! you could probably buy a copy of this on blurb, yes Stephanie?), the fuzzy rug, the pillow - it all came together so beautifully. Very inspiring, Stephanie! Now will you fly out to California and put together a Van Gogh family room for me?

Oh, what a pretty space. I need a space like that to snuggle up with a good book.

I'm so with you on the VG painting! And a whole room in grey with orange?! Too much! Too maaach! I love it! Maybe she could do each room in her place like a painting. . . I'm dreaming . . .

It looks like a very serene room. One that I wouldn't be able to let my kids near!

Oh love the oversized plantation shutters. They make a room looks so beachy!

Lynne, I can't believe you spotted that book in the stack! My husband created it for me on Blurb for Christmas. I keep it upstairs sometimes because my son loves to flip through it and find pictures of him and his siblings. It's pretty cute. Plus, when I look at it I am reminded of how much effort went into it. Ben spent hours creating this book--it's a whopping 434 pages.

Which brings me to my next point...I could make it available to the public but because it is so freakin' long (my husband used maximum allowed pages) it would cost someone $80 to buy it...and that's with me making zero profit. So, I might have to come up with a "Best of..." No?
