sugar box #2
Sugar Box #2 (Sugar Box #1 can be seen here): perfect for the five-year old's woodland day dreams. I'm contemplating a few more, perhaps a bit more animated Red Riding Hood vignettes: perhaps Wolfie dressed as Grandmother in a grand--and a bit gaudy--Victorian walnut bed, lazily drinking some nettle tea and nibbling on lemony crumpets; or the woodsman with his wolf-killing armament: a scythe, an awl, and large shiny ax.

I like making little scenes in boxes too although it's been a while since I've done one.

Sweet box and darling photos. You are so endlessly talented...! Thanks for sharing!
How cute is that !!!!!
Yes an awl; that's so dark and funny!
okay, i say this might just take that crown for best present ever! i love this idea, my niece would flip.
Oh, I love it. Also the color on the wall behind it...simply great. It wouldn't happen to be Pottery Barn's Jalapeno, would it?:)
This is adorable. SHE is adorable. I once made a cowboy-scene shadowbox, yee-haw, and this is so much more quaint and high brow. I love your aesthetic.

sweetest living for your family
You are so talented, my gosh, did you do the bedhead too?
That's so cute.
My Rose was wearing our Red Riding Hood cape and standing by our red tulips today and I was so disappointed I didn't get a chance to take a picture. (I told her that if the wolf told her to pick the flowers, she'd better not listen to him.)
I meant to ask -- did you make Little Red Riding hood (as in she's not a purchased doll?) I assumed she was a doll but then when I realized you must have made the wolf from clay and faux fur, I realized you probably made RRH, too. She's SO cute! Is her hair embroidery floss?
How sweet is that.... ;-)))
Aaaaahhhhhhhhh !!!!! Beautiful !!!!! Je craque !!!! C'est si joli !!!! et cette petit fille est à croquer !!! et ce lit !!!! Tout est beau !!!!
Happy Earth Day Melissa !!! xo

I love this. I'm going to go through my daughter's toy box right now to see what we can create!
Thanks.
I have been obsessing about this color green since seeing the room what seems like a long time ago. I will not pretend that I have the skill to paint such a beautiful headboard but I would very much like to paint my walls this color.
Could you please let me know the name and maker of this amazing color?
Thanks so much,
Tracey@paperdollsforboys
I love this box, VERY BEAUTIFUL!
Congratulations.
